Hello, new to the group. I just received my Diablosport I3 InTune Platinum today. I am thinking about returning it as I do not see much benefit for $400.00? I do not see the ability to turn fan on for lower stat? I do not see ability to eliminate skip shift? I have been using tuners since 1994 and those options were the basics back then? I have an 01 C5 6 speed manual. I have reviewed some other posts and sent the guy from Diablosport. I am hoping that this was a good decision? If not, I will be returning it for HP tuners... I would appreciate some advice, Thank You.

Do you have any mods? I have a 2003 z06 and was very happy with the 93 octane tune. But I’m really happy with the diablolew custom tune for an extra $150. I have a corsa sport cat back exhaust and an air aid CAI.
I have an aftermarket cat-back and a Vararam power duct with K&N filter attached, open air no air box. I installed a 160deg stat due to decreased air flow from my front spliter. I plan to add TSP headers and possibly a mild cam. I wanted the ability to engage fans sooner and delete the skip shift which have in the past been basic options on tuners? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the reply.
Nice car. I didn’t play with it I just installed the 93 tune and felt immediate results. Then I let diablolew work his magic. It’s like a new car. Sorry you’re not happy with it. I think for the money you’ll be happier with a custom tune in your area. I’m sure if you post your location many forum memb!rs will recommend someone.
Thank You for your reply. I do not have anyone near me that performs dyno tuning, I live in Lafayette Indiana. I started looking at HP tuners but as a 46yr old man, things don't come as easy as they used to mentally. This is why I researched and chose the Platinum 8245 Diablosport. I was just shocked when I didn't see the basics that were always offered in the past tuners I have used. I will make some more calls and see I can do what I need to do with it. Thank You again for your help.
you can change the fans and can disable the CAGS (skipshift)... you have to go to Tune Vehicle - Advanced Mode... select the tune you want to install.. then choose to Modify it.. and once you are in the Modify Tune menu, you have a bunch of things you can adjust/modify...
then exit back out and install/apply the tune...
And as mentioned, you can get custom tuning done for it as well, which I can definitely get you hooked up with... I've done a ton of these cars...
You can send me an email at -- diablo DOT help AT gmail DOT com -- with the year, model, engine of your GM vehicle, any mods done to it, what octane gas you use, which diablo tool you have, etc.. and I can send you a loooong email with info about the custom tuning, the process, etc.
