If I swap my 1 Bar MAP sensor for a 2 Bar do I need to program the computer right away or can I do it a week or so later? So is it basically backward compatible if using the 2 Bar as a 1 bar? Thanks.......I do know that if I want to benefit from it then I need to update to a 2 Bar OS in HP Tuners and adjust a few tables. I just want to do this a little later
I know I responded in your other thread with the 200/8 values, but here's a good sanity check. With your stock 1 bar sensor, turn key on, engine off.... see what MAP is. Probably 95-101 kPa. Put in new sensor, adjust tables.... do the same test. It should be the same or very very close. Ideally you would do this test on the same day as close together as possible so the air pressure is the same.

Awesome info...thanks....
I just put new injectors in the car and uploaded the A&&A base tune. It idles fine and all good but if I step on the gas a bit the cat seems to hunt a bit...rpms going up and down with foot steady....not sure why, but will take test drive....it will get a professional tune but trying to get her running good for my travel there.. I prefer to have all the parts installed so they need to tune only
Feel free to post a datalog. Biggest things I check after a big install is sensor values.... make sure I didn't forget to plug something back in (should set a code too) and just sanity check everything (like the MAP stuff above). Most likely issue is probably fueling, so fuel trims... you could do a quick and dirty MAF cal before the trip if that is indeed the issue.
