Would someone be willing to share a Bin and XDFs file for a 2000-2004 Corvette? I have a project car that I need to remove the VAT but can’t find a XDFs for the bin that I have so I need some help.
I can't make any promises, but this bin file would probably work: https://github.com/Snoman002/Engine-...YY22G6X5111143
It came from an auto-trans car. I think you can use auto bins with manual cars but I'm not sure what changes (if any) are needed.
There are some XDFs here: https://github.com/Snoman002/Engine-...nvetted%20XDFs
I don't know which XDFs are better but some of those are just unprotected versions of password-protected files that are also there. At least two people were working on XDFs, and I think they mostly have all of the same info.
Hopefully someone steps up and makes a single not-password-protected XDF that contains the best parts of both files... It would take some work but it would benefit the whole community.
BIN and XDF are old OBDI terms. What software are you guys using that is bound by this construct? EFILive just uses a single proprietary file format.
They were OBD1 terms.
Some friends and I wrote open source software for flashing and logging with 99-04 C5s: http://PcmHammer.org
That extracts the contents of the PCM's flash memory and saves it as a .bin file.
Free software for tuning the parameters and tables in the .bin files: http://TunerPro.net
That needs an XDF that matches the operating system in the .bin file.
There are good XDFs for a couple of operating systems that were used in C5s (2156, 3358, 7603).

So the .bin is a 512k or 1MB file? EFILive does a cal flash and a full flash, or is this apples and oranges?
P01 is 512K, P59 is 1MB. The bin includes the OS/application software as well as the calibration. All the same info that's in a hpt or efi file, its just not compressed or encrypted (plus of course hpt/efi files include things like change logs, probably some license info, etc.)
Thanks for the help, I was able to find a workable bin and XDF through Tunerpro and have installed the bin on my ecu using PCMHammer. The engine is now running! I am now having trouble with the Throttle by wire and it might be due to the throttle pedal not being the same year as the control module may have to go throttle by cable.

I stumbled across both of these programs recently and started working on my idle issues on my 04. A big thank you to everyone involved in the project, and all of the information being shared in the forums.

How did you solve the throttle problem? I have the same problem with a 2000 LS1 and I can't find a bin file for a C5 engine with electronic throttle.

I have tried it but it does not work correctly because it does not have an electronic throttle. Can't find bin file for corvette c5 2001 and later. Can you help me?
