Realistically they have much, much bigger fish to fry like getting PFAS out of our drinking water. But since that would consist of being productive they'll probably just continue to harass car lovers over what amounts to nothing in the grand scheme of things.

The laws are still on the books, and have been since 1970. I would not want to be flagrantly violating as a parts manufacturer, retailer, or installation shop under the hope that they are looking elsewhere. I takes one complaint for them to follow up on something and all of a sudden the law is getting enforced...
