I have a new C-5. Can I do a reprogram without voiding the warranty? What can I gain? I would like to smash some Ricers [IMG][/IMG] :boxing
You can program your factory pcm without fear of the dealer giving you any headaches. The Tech 2 tool they use to scan and diagnose the vehicle will not show them that the programming has been altered, but it will advise them to update it's calibration if you ever take it to the dealer with an old calibration, or something different, say a new tune. For this, I always recommend that whatever you purchase to make sure it allows you to easily return to stock.
With good tuning you can gain around 10 to 16 rwhp, depending on how close you are to optimal already. I would love to discuss with you on this further, so please do not hesitate to reply here to ask more questions if you have any, or you may email me or call me, at your convenience.
