The last 2 times that I have checked the IPC codes through the DIC I have had the same one come up, P1571. I see this is for the ASR Desired Torque - C. Both times it has been a History code. I would like to know what is tripping this. Is there something I can correct so that I will not get this code or is this something I shouldn't worry about?
Thanks in advanced for your help.

Hello,
I opened the service manual and it appears there are three components. The Power Train Control Module The Electronic Brake Traction Control Module and the Orange and Black Wire between them.
My thoughts:
1 - Ever have a battery leakage issue? If so check the PCM connectors.
2 - The sensors at the wheel are highly susceptible to debris. How about cleaning them up and re-sealing w/ some die electric grease.
The book seems to indicate an intermittent/ broken wire...if not a rub through causes this code.
I would personally start by pulling all the wheels and take a good look at the wiring in these areas.
Thank you for the information. I will start with the sensors along with the connections into the PCM. I haven't check into the leakage at the bottom. I have just looked from the top. I think that I will pull the battery out and do some checking to see if there is a problem. I am thinking that it would be very handy to have a set of those manuals!! Thanks again for the help.
