Please help.
I have a 98 a4, 2.73, Blackwing and Borla Stingers. Planning on gear change to 3.42. Should I have a local shop do the install and reprogram for $550.00 Or purhcase Ls1 edit and reprogram pcm myself. Also, is it an easy reprogram for the computer illeterate.
Last question, I asked the shop owner if he could just do a ls1edit dyno tune when he is fininshed with the install. He said that the dyno tune is $450 and could not be incorporated to the $550 gear and reprogram. Isn't he going to already have to use the ls1edit to reprogram for the gear change?
