Default Code help Please?!

I've had the check engine light come on three time in the last couple of weeks. The code I'm getting is: P0172 Fuel Trim System Rich bank 1-B

I'm getting ready to go on the National Corvette Caravan. Is this serious?
After resetting it, I can drive it for a couple of days before it comes back on.

I've recently taken off the Vortex Rammer, and put the stock air box back on (don't want to hit water on the trip), and took off the SLP loudmouths, and put the stock exhaust back on, so I can hear the communication radios during the trip.

I need to get it handled before the trip!

The code isn't super serious, if you are running a little rich then you are probably ok. You could possibly have an exhaust leak, a bad O2 sensor, or may just need a little part throttle tuning adjustments to calibrate the PCM for the mods you have.

Thanks man,

As we left from Iowa, the code set again. I cleared it at our first stop. I drove it another 1800 miles for the Caravan, and have never seen it again.

Who knows, but thanks for the help!
