You should have gotten the file back yesterday, bud. Please let me know how it works out. I am here if you need me to make any changes whatsoever.

i have a question that i don't know if you can answer or i might need to contact the manufacturer directly.
why don't they make the predator for the 98s?
are there any plans to come out with a 97-98 version?
thanks

DiabloSport, at the time, decided to go with the market that had the most opportunity for producing a successful product, and since there were already 4 to 5 models year to work with that had the same or similar pcm systems (99-02 trucks, Camaros, and Firebirds, and 99-03 Vettes), that made the most logical choice from a marketing and engineering standpoint.
I am aware that many 97 and 98 owners would like to have this tool come to their market too, and I am constantly requesting that DiabloSport dwelves into this market as well. Only time will tell when and if it will happen, but you can be assured I will continue to support doing such.
Thanks!
Sincerely...

I have heard that they may bring another software to market that would put the Predator on the backburner for future upgrades, maybe James can elaborate on this further ???

Bob
I'm sorry I will never buy or reccomend another Diablo product again unless they can get some of these features they promised in the .04 update. I bought mine with the inherint promise that they would be adding funtionality in .04.
Is it even in beta right now? Are they even coding it? What is the time line?
Brian
I'll give a sneak peak of what's to come in the end-user options in the revision upgrades:
Axle Ratio Adjustment Fix
LTFT adjustment ability
More timing and fuel control
Idle Control
More transmission options (downshifting, etc.)
Ability to turn off specific pcm Tests and DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes)
Ability to adjust factory tuning with end-user options
There are a few possible options I do not want to discuss right now, simply because I'm not sure if they will make it on the next revision or not, or not at all.
The Predator will always be the tool that transfer the tune into the vehicle, and it is *not* on hold for current and future development. Whoever is telling that needs a lesson concerning this, so please spread what I'm saying as truth.
As for if ChipMaster-Revolution (CMR, the software that I use to build custom tunes) will be made available to the general public, I have been pressing for end-user software for a long while now, especially for the GM market, even before CMR was released for Fords. If it happens, I'd expect it to be offered only through us existing CMR dealers, for obvious reasons. This would allow the proper support that end-users would need and deserve, and to keep the product from being horsed about by rogue individuals/businesses. Only time will tell, and until then, I will continue to press the need for it for everyone.
Kind Regards...

My point is that .04 was "being worked/close" since I bought my unit in october. After 5 months it still doesn't exist, and there is no forseable timeline for when it might come out.
Brian
The Predator for the 2004 vehicles (trucks and Vettes) is being worked on now, and they have successfully tuned 2004 vehicles already that they are using for R&D.
I do not have any further information at this time. Thank you.
Kind Regards...
Bill :) :)
