Tuning Questions
I have a 1998 Coupe 6 Speed, it has 65K miles.
I have recently completed the following mods.
1. added an K&N Air filter.
2. Zip tie mod (No airbox cover)
3. de-screened the MAF
4. I have relocated the MAT sensor with the MAT sensor relocation kit.
5. removed the corrigated intake and replace with a smooth aftermarket one
I have never replaced the plugs and think they might be orginal.
I wanted to know should the plugs be replaced
Does the car need tuning now that more air is flowing becuase of the mods I did, will it run too Lean?
I wanted to buy the hypertech tuner, for 1998 LS1 will I get any bennefit from that. if so, how much HP gain do you think I could get.
Will new spark plugs increase performace?

I would replace the plugs. NGK TR55s.
Adaptive learning should take care of all fueling needs. Your LTFTs probably went positive after you descreened the MAF. FWIW
