Default O2 sensor ??

Just polished my TB and installed the Vararam. I did some data logging today and noticed one, improved air flow through the MAF about 6-8#/min compared to the Blackwing. I also noticed that my O2 sensors were reading .930-.955 mV. I think this means I am lean, correct??? Any help would be appreciated.

O2s on our cars are narrowband switches - not much good for judging AFR. Log your LTFTs...are they positive (PCM adding fuel) or negative (PCM subtracting fuel)? I would think they're Positive since you've increased airflow.
Hope this helps some.

BTW those o2 readings are very rich. Some guys do use these narrow band o2's to get the car in the ballpark or till they can get to a dyno.I f this is your case than .890 to .910 would be your goal.

0.93-0.95 is very rich. You should aim for between 0.880 and 0.9, and also try to get your LTFTs between -1 to -3.

What if your O2's are 900+ but your ltrims are both positive...My O2's are reading 910-920 ish while my ltrims are as high as 9% positive.

I would get your LTFT's as close to 0 as possible but always on the negative side, i.e.-1 or-1.5. After a little tinkering, mine average -.068!
After your LTrims are in this range, then examine your O2's, (dyno time) hopefully with a wide band and see where max power exists and what your corresponding o2 readings are.

Positive Ltrims means the computer is adding fuel so when you go WOT the computer will keep adding fuel making your O2's on the rich side so +Ltrims and high O2's are common. When adjusting your ltrims you want cells 6-14 to all be negative and cell 22 should lock at zero when you go WOT.
