Has anyone tried the new Vinci performance hand held programmer. If so
what did you think, and how flexible is it.It is similar in looks to a Superchip, PPlll ect. Thanks,
Just purchased the Vinci programmer and installed a custom program, it
lets you choose a lot more variables than does the Superchip. I replaced
a Superchips programmer with the Vince unit. To put it bluntly thier is no
comparison. The Vinci unit far out preforms the Superchip, it is as close
to an LS1 edit as you can get with a handheld. The feature I really like
beyond the performance gains, is that it is portable. Call and talk to
Roger he will answer all your questions, tell him Larry sent you.
Just got mine today. I have a 04 C5 six speed , Vararam & Coursa cat back other than that, all stock. Looking for advice on enrichment and timming. Did the hpstock cam tune and 190 fan. anyone play around with setting?
After installing the programmer both big end power and torque increased but I had a small amount of black on inside of both tailpipes. I went to the fuel curve adjustment pulled out 5% and fixed this problem. This Vinci programmer was able to tune my car with a cam, headers, blackwing, roller rockers,T.B. bypass, small crank pulley, carbon airbridge and a 170 stat with fan controller. The programmer has a mode to adjust timing but I haven't used it yet.
i tried others like the stock cam/supercharged and the CAM #1 just for giggles. i gained a .1et/.5mph over stock from the CAM #1. for the supercharged one .05et/.3mph. remember the only thing i have added are the SLP airlid and cutout.
