Mac, I would get a transmission cooler today if it is running consistently high like that. Or if you plan to frequently plan to frequently flog the car like that. And get it installed ASAP. 230 consistent is too high if you want any longevity out of your transmission at all.
2 1/2 hours of that over a long time and you will need a tranny rebuild sooner rather than later
If this 230 is a one time or infrequent occurence then so much the better. What does it run during normal driving? Do you have an aftermarket torque converter?

Thanks for the reply. Its never been over 205 until this mad canyon run. Usually runs under 200.
