I need people's info/ opinions on a dyno tune for my car.
I will be bringing my 01 MN6 Coupe to TTP on November 7th for a dyno day, and I'm figuring I "might as well" get a tune, since it'll be there. Will it be worth it?
My car only has a Blackwing, power duct, and Stingers on it, but I don't plan on making any further mods to the car for a long while.
What gains should be expected w/ only those mods and what's the going rate for a tune? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
PLUS: now I see a GP on the predator flash tuner for much less than a single dyno tune. Does it make more sense to just buy the tuner and be able to get "unlimited" tunes? Keep in mind I have NO experience w/ tuning, so I would need to do a little learnin

Tuning a car will give you a gain in power, a stock corvette will benefit from a good tune but if your planning on more mods I'd wait for your tune. IMO
Normally I'd say no, based on your comments. hOwever, I 'think' the 2001 ran a little lean from the factory, and your bolt ons do nothing but make that problem worse. So, I'd get a basic tune, and make sure your WOT AFR is correct and that you are not getting any part throttle knock. Make sure you fill up with the type/grade of gas that you'll use on a daily basis.
I have pretty much the same mods and a dyno "tune" is probably not worth it. You will benefit from the most recent reflash of the PCM that is out, and available at the local dealer. Talk him into doing it for free.
