Don't waste your time or money on a Hypertech been there done that Go with LS1 Edit, cost more but worth the bucks
Here is some general info on what a hypertech III does for the A4 vette.
power tuning
rev limiter up to 6600
shift points change using +- mph settings
thermostat and fan temp changes
top end limiter
shift firmness stock +25% +50% +75% +100%
gear scale for 2.73 to 3.15 only
setting for new wheel or tire size for speedometer
settings for an aftermarket shift kit
back to stock setting
I think that is about it. I would be happy with it but one function I would like it does not have is a way to program out the torque management.
if you are wanting a handheld, then take a look at the VHP tuner. has some preset tunes depending upon cam duration. or you can edit the stock program. or use a hiperf/stock cam setting. plus you can make changes to any of those preset tunes. http://www.stealthram.com/vhptuner.htm
if you have a laptop. then you can buy any of the editing programs out there. also get a datalogger, if the editor programs don't come with one already. then you can make changes to just about everything.
