vehicle has mild cam , heads , lt's and all the bolt ons.. 4.10s with a4 stock converter.....[ do my tuning with ls1 and wideband]
having a problem with running rich at high speed....it seems that cruising above 3200 on the hiway i start going rich....almost like the COT [ cat overtemp mode]is coming on....
did have it tuned pretty well...and i am trying to tackle this issue....any thoughts from you tuning guru's?
Sounds like the COT might need to be disabled. Is this under WOT or just around on the street? You didn't mention the dyno. Have you dyno tuned it to verify the A/F above 3200RPM's? Maybe your tune is just way off..........
gonna try turning off the COT.....do a log and see if that is what is going on...anythoughts about COT being off and running high flo cats? would i run risk of damage to cats?
i raised the cot temps 150* across the board....does not run rich now.....anyone have experience with modifying the cot table and running high flow cats?....is the cot necessary to prevent cats from overheating? does it apply to high flow cats??? any insight would be appreciated>>>>
