Do the sensors need to be reprogrammed if they are re-installed in a new wheel, but placed back on the same corner they come off of (e.g. - front left goes back on the front left, etc.)?
I have some new wheels and tires coming and I'm trying to plan ahead.

Nope.
The program procedure only identifies each sensor electronic ID and establishes the location of each sensor as it is installed on the car, so the display reads accordingly.
If you are re-using the same sensors, and take care to reinstall them where they were before, no reprogram is needed.

Just put Foose 20''s on the rear and 19''s on front, cut the stem off the sensors and put them in the same place they were on my 99.Not a single problem after the new ones installed.
