Default Shocks settling?

I have a shock question for you. I installed some Bilstein sport shocks on the front and rear of my C5 coupe. The improvement in handling, especially considering one of my old rear shocks was leaking, was incredible. Now I have noticed that the car appears to have settled in the rear some. For example, on the front I have a four finger gap between the top of the wheel well and the tire, but only a 2-3 finger gap in the back. The car has been riding a little rougher and I notice that it does not handle as well under hard cornering (back end slips out a little easier) as when I first had the shocks put on. I guess, my question is this, should their be a similar gap between the wheel well and the tire on both the front and back? Thanks for the help!

Our C5s are designed to have a negative rake. That means that the front should be lower than the rear. Assuming stock everything else, you should raise the back some and lower the front some until the back is about one to one and a half fingers higher than the front.
