I installed B - B Bullet pipes last year on my 04 vert.........sweet.
Naturally, there is some resonation in the car with the top up. My better half hasn't said anything but she does suffer from migrains and I do not want to be the source of a headache.
My question.........I read installing an aftermarket X pipe will reduce the resonation in the car.
Get an "x" pipe. I only have experience with Magnaflow's X (before my LG's) and it completely removed the 1600rpm drone! I am pretty sure other "X" pipes will do the same.
I have found that an X-piple will lower the volume of sound 15 to 20%. Yes, it will lower the hum inside your car at low speeds. Out on the freeway, you should be Okay. If you don't want to turn the sound down as your first choice, add insulation to your trunk/cargo area. That is a less expensive fix than the X-pipe.
