I was ooking at them, they are hollow. But I also found a Co. that makes Solid sway bars. And the Front sway bar is larger than the Hotckik, but the rear sway bar is smaller.

The T1's are a little bit bigger and I do believe those are hollow. if the bars you are looking at are bigger than the T1's and solid my question is why?

I also have hotchkiss and I like them but I might get the T1's. Go with a hollow bar the solid bar is much heavier.

no question, hollow....C5's use hollow bars.

for the same stiffness, the bar will be significantly lighter, and lighter is good, yes?

I'm very happy with the Z06 swaybar upgrade I did. Hollow works.

In the twisting force the swaybars resist, the parts of the bar further from the center are subjected to greater forces. The further you go out, the greater the forces. The material in the middle, if there is material, does little but add weight to the part. All GM bars and the Hotchkis bars are hollow.

The way I'm reading the replies, everyone that has replied suggests the hollow bars. I guess that's not good enough for you, so I'll give you what you want to hear:

Solid sway bars are the best! They resist sway better than hollow bars while weighing less, and they aren't as harsh either. They'll also improve acceleration and braking.

Depending on the price, I'd want hollow, but if it's a mega-buck differnce, I'll take solid.
