Default New guy needs help w/front plate cover

I read the manual and it does not tell me how to remove the front lis plate cover.

Well, I took mine off 2 years ago, but as I remember, there are two very small screws on the bottom which are easily missed if you aren't looking for them. Remove those and pull out the bottom edge and the upper tabs will come out of the slits in the front facia and off it comes. Good luck.

There are supposed to be two small phillips screws on the bottom edge.

Look along the bottom edge with a flashlight and you will see them back in there.

Use a skinny screwdriver to remove them so you wont chip the paint, and the cover should come right out of there. (so I'm told)

They are small philips heads at about 1/3 and 2/3rds across the bottom edge. Push upwards on the cover and you should be able to see them...

NO whats stupid is the dealer sells this plastic plate for $80 if someone steals yours! Then you have to paint it For another $50 or more.. then you screw it on with 2 tiny screws that cost nothing and hope not to strip out the plastic holes it screws into on you $50000 car!! Now thats stupid!!!!
