Vararam install is no fun
Installing the Vararam sucks especially if you have a lowered car. I had to jack up my car just to get under the front bumper.
The worst part is removing the last bolt on the fog light cover.

I used Rhino Ramps to raise the front of my Vette. I had enough room to work but not to roll over. That one bolt on the foglight was by far the most difficult part for me! As soon as it all in though... It makes it all worth it!

No one has ever really posted detailed instructions with pics on the vararam install. I would love to see how it is done b/c I currently have a blackwing and may opt for the swap. good luck with the install CNB
vararam's website has an instruction, picture step by step, but I saw a better one of someone who did it on his yellow C5, but can't seem to find that website for the life of me, I'll keep checking and get back to you...
Here is the link. http://www.zbramotors.com/vararam/VaraRam.html
The link helps a little but is still not detailed enough. I was having problems getting things aligned and I realized something. I am having a cam installed soon and the radiator will be removed. I decided to put my car back to the way it was before and have the Vararam installed with the cam. A hint for the do-it-yourself people. You better have the right tools, a lift or jack the car up, and patience. If the weather was in the 50's or 60's I would probably continue but right now it is in the 40's with rain.

It really sucks, I've done it three times. I've got it down to where it only takes me 15 minutes. The fog light covers are the hardest part. 1/4" air wrench with an extension makes fast work of it if you can get the socket on the screws.

And the benifits are something else.
