Default 30,000 miles!!!

Hey everyone, I'm getting ready to hit 30,000 miles on my 97. Just looking for advice on any maintenance issues I'd better check to keep her running nice, fast and smooth. Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks
T.J.

Keep on top of the oil changes, you may want to switch out your stock plugs for other performance plugs such as NGKs (not really necessary, but could be beneficial if you have mods), keep track of the tire wear if you are still on your first set. Other than that you could de-carb you engine if you haven't yet. Just get out there and enjoy your ride!!!

Got 25k on my 02. Drive it everyday. Hardly at all on the weekends for some reason. I guess when work is only 30 miles round trip you don't rack up that many miles.

Besides the normal things like oil changes the service manual recommends changing the air filter every 15K miles.

I agree with the other replies. Routine oil changes being the most important. Air filter changes are so easy. In fact, every 2K or so, I pull the filter out and blow the debris out of the element with an airhose. I really keep a close eye on tire air pressure, especially in this cold weather. Other than that, that 350 engine is as solid as a rock and doesn't require much. My 2000 model has 44,000 miles on it and I'm going to get the transmission fluid and antifreeze changed at 50,000. My dealer gave me this advice.
