How do I prevent them from squeeking when they open? I spayed silicon lube on the hinge part, but didnt help.

There is an inside hinge area that is closer to the engine that is really hard to get to. After replacing my headlights and fogs that is where I found my squeek to be. I reached in there with Lithium grease and did my best to get that hinge covered. After a few ups and downs the noise went away.
To find the squeek I asked my wife to turn the lights on and off while I stood there. It made it a lot easier to determine where the noise was exactly coming from.
