Default M6 to A4 conversion. Anyone build a kit?

I know some tuners out there have done this quite successfully (eg, Cartek) so I was curious if any of them actually offer a kit that has everything needed? I realize that the tranny, wiring harnesses, PCM changes, cooling lines, etc are all needed.

Thanks in advance

Not that I've seen , Parts can get a little on the Expensive side. I Traded the Parts I needed with another Forum Member that wanted to do a A4 to 6 Speed Conversion which inturn Save us both $$$$ in Parts alone.

I emailed Gene at karshop and all the parts were $1800 + shipping. Add to that a rebuilt tranny and a converter.

I would have done it myself but no one could convince me that their built 4l60e would last very long with 750rwhp.

Sorry to hijack the thread - what about a A4 to M6 conversion - cost and parts?

How long should they last? I got 2 seasons out of a built tranny that ARE did for me. About 100 runs.
I was running it out the back door for the most part to save it, but it went out just like the Yank tranny I had, that lasted only 1 good nitrous run.
Rodney just built me one with the latest and greatest parts available. I will be happy to get 50 real hard runs out of it.
I still think it's better than dealing with the clutches on the manual trannys.

You can always do what I did...get an F-Body. After contemplating the M6-A4 swap I simply opted to invest in a high mileage 98 F-Body that is my new track car. Now I use the vette for what it was built for...blasting around country roads banging the gears.

Good Luck with your install.
