I had my Check Engine light come on today so I went outside to play with my DIC.
After erasing all the old codes the only code left was 38 RTD No Comm. Could it be that this is a feature my particular 99 Vette does not have. Or is there something wrong?
Please let me know, oh wise men of the forum.
Thanks in advance...
RTD= Real Time Damping. This is an option available from `99-2004, If you have a Suspension Ride Control Switch on the center console just behind the shifter, your car has a RTD System. Sounds like the BCM lost contact with the RTD System. A scan tool can diagnose where the open or short might by by eliminating components that have a data link to the system.
Hope this helps....
