Default Headlight Problem???

Passenger side only coming up 3/4 of the way. Motor seems to be working fine. Can I adjust it to fix the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jake.

There may be a problem with either the internal gear in the motor or is thinks it is reaching the stop prematurely. If you are under warranty I would take it in or if you are adventurous and have the service manuals you could take the assembly apart and check for any abnormalities.

I had a faulty gear in my head light a couple yrs ago, had to have it the motor replaced. Good luck!

Car is out of warranty. Motor seems to be OK. Was hoping I could adjust it myself and save a trip to the dealership. Thanks for the input.

If I have it right, the motor runs till the module that controls it sees excess current, then it stops, next operation is set for opposite direction. Either its against the stop or has run into something, maybe just tight. Can you maually open all the way? If you need gears check www.rodneydickman.com
