Default Hood latch

More often then not when closing my hood, the left side does not latch. Everything appears to be working normally. What adjustments if any are there to check, or what is the fix for this? Thanks.

The latch is adjustable. Loosen and raise it up just little to see if it will catch the striker. It will probably take a couple of adjustment to get it perfect

Try pushing from the center of the hood near the windshield as you close it and it usually catches both latches.

Mine will do that unless I drop it from about 2 feet up. I think this is pretty normal. Good Luck.

I have the same problem with my hood. I will work on the adjustment this week - is it pretty straight forward?

Well I do the drop from 12" or so. I have seen many Vette owners at shows gently set hood down on latches and then push strait down with a towel in hand to seat each latch. Most do right side 1st then left. I only push by hand if they fail to latch at 1st drop.
