Default Screwing Tires

I just purchased a CCW drag package with screwed in rears. I am probably going to change out the rears for smaller tires. The ones on there are 28"x12.50" MT ET Streets and I want to go with the 26"x11.5" ET's. The rims have been drilled and screws are fitted to the tires on there now. I havn't done this so I would like to hear from anyone who has. Some questions are,
Do I need to screw in the new tires because of the holes in the rims?
If I do screw them do they need to be screwed before they are inflated?
Do I need to put some blue locktight or other sealant on the screws if used?
Is this something that can be done after the tires are mounted, balanced, and inflated?
Can the tires that are removed be reused? They are about 50% done.

Man... It's been about 20 years since I've done this... Let me remember.. Before puting the tires on and screwing,, I used a little rubber cement around the rim to also help from twisting the tires off and as a sealant. With the holes there,,, inflate the tires almost all the way,,,then screw them in, inflate all the way and then balance. Good luck on the removed tires to get them to set on right and hold an inflate. I never tried to remove and reuse. For me it was always remove and throw away, they were shot by that time anyway.

I loved to smoke tires that were set on like this... Have fun.

Thanks, that's what I thought should be done. I just wanted some confirmation to get that warm and fuzzy feeling back.
