Help with door switch LED install

Hey guys, I am installing some Blue LED's in my door switches according to Spdkilz's instructions (Spdkilz.com). I've finished my passenger door side and I noticed that the lower area (under door luck/unlock) is not as bright... anyone else with this, or is it just me? Thanks!

I did mine a few weeks ago and all of mine were very dim. i checked and they were turned on just very dim. i couldn't figure it out as i purchased the correct supplies and followed the directions to a T. i just went back to stock as it turned into a pita.

yeah, the upper one looks great, the lower is dim... I wonder if it's how I cut down the LED's...

Hey Rob-
What resistor are you using? 470 ohm with 5mm LED?
If you have access to 3mm LED, try that. Just don't push the bulb all the way down in the holder.

Thanks for the advice but I dont have the stuff anymore. I'll just leave it stock for now and concentrate on making some power. Thanks though.

I recut the passenger side one and it looks great! I got the driver side done and it looks even better! Can you do the Center Console A/H - Selective Ride controller? I don't see why not...

oh yeah, I'm using 5 mm LED's with 470 ohm resistors...
