I hear a squeek in the front when I drive over a bump...is this something that can be fixed? I heard other people have the same thing, plus I noticed it more since its cold here in UTAH....any help would be great...

I suggest that you cease going over bumps,
Okay I'm sorry...it's late and I just couldn't resist!
I will feel guilty if I don't offer at least one plausible suggestion. I don't know how old your car is, but I have heard it suggested by numerous car guys to go through and tighten nuts, screws, etc once a year or so just to make sure that things stay buttoned up. Otherwise, some kind of chassis stiffening may help, then again, depending on the source of the problem, it may exascerbate the issue.
Your sway bar bushing have worn the paint off the sway bars.. rust has formed on the sway bars and the squeak is coming from the rust rubbing on the dry bushings... the fix is to remove the two front bushings and the two rear bushings.. clean the rust off the bushings and clean the sway bars.. repaint the sway bars, apply silicone grease to the bushings and reinstall. Torque to the proper specs...
front bushing torque 58 N-m 43 ft lbs
rear bushing upper torque 65 N-m 49 ft lbs
rear bushing lower torque 95 N-m 70 ft lbs

Great...thanks for the info EVIL...I was hoping it was something pretty simple, so to speak..
You want to use a silicone grease, GM sells it , or you can get it aty any auto store.. you do not want to use any petro grease..no WD 40... these will cause premature bushing deterioration..

Hey me too.
I would call it more of a SQUAK over a bump or sharp dip.
My vette is a 99, And I have just noticed it doing this since it's been cold and wet for a month now.
I don't drive it in wet weather but I'm sure humidity works on everything around this part of the world. ( Southeast Texas )
And no I didn't run over a chicken
I have some silcone spray, do you folks think that will do the trick on the sway bar bushing ?
Thanks EVIL TWIN....sounds like a project for me this weekend or next week....Is it easy to reach the bushings with the car on ramps? Or will it be better to have it on stands?

The job is an easy one.. less than an hour...use ramps for the front.. and do the fronts... then back the car up on the ramps for the rear.. just take note as to how the bushing fits in the bushing clamp pocket.
I took mine in under warranty and the rubber pads on the front spring were bad. They were replaced under warranty and the front end squeek and stopped. I still have the rear end squeek, and drives me nuts. I can only hear it on slow speed over bumps. You can bounce the rear end and still hear it. I suspect bushings and the silicon spray I hope will help. The dealer pretty much gave up after the front spring pads and said bring it back some other time and we will find it.
I guess I will have to crawl under it as I have done for my 64,, 72, ,,, 87 and nnnnnnow the 99 C5.

Great...thanks. Sounds like a good job for my father and I to work on when he stays with us next week...
I heard another thing to use from a different make, that is water resistant and non-harmful to rubber is Cornhead Grease from John Deer. Fortunately I live in farm country there is a John Deer dealer 10 min away.
