What will a cross pipe do for proformance on C5?

Assuming you mean X-pipe, the HP gains are very small if it all. From what I've read, going to an X-pipe with Corsa's will take away some of the 'motor boat' sound and lessen the popping on de-cel.

actually,............... they are both the same it 
depends what manufacturer you choose... and some ARE better than others the idea here is to improve the "scaveneging effect" just like 'GOOD" hedders and a tuned exhaust, just like any other perf. mods. you will do, usually they dont deliver optimum performance if each component stands alone.....your example....if you go with the hedders and cross over pipe start with real good intake and end with free flow cats and exhaust..................then there is that bored manifold and.......and...and this way lies maddness.....
