Just wanted to say what an helpful, smart group of friendly people that obviously love Vettes I just purchased my 2001 Convertible in December 2004. Runs great, but has small problem when I start car after it has been running (eg.-stop at store). When I start it up, starts fine. As soon as I give it a liittle gas it loads up with too much fuel. (usually in Reveres) Clears out quickly and NO problems after that until I stop the next time. Get codes P0172/P0175. (If I let it idle for about 30 seconds, problem doens not occur). I have an ATI ps-1 Procharger, headers, new plugs, and new fuel filter. (Injectors have been cleaned) Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? Also, (may have something to do with it) my Fuel pressure is 42 to 48 psi. Manual says 55 to 62 psi is standard. Had 60 psi when I bought it. Has trended down over last few weeks. I would appreciate any help someone could give me. Take care.
have you tried the F/I section?? I am sure someone here may be able to help you but might get a reply in F/I section faster if not I know someone that may be able to help you..
Welcome! I'm not sure where you are located. I would suggest you call Speed Inc. in Schaumburg, IL 847-891-0767.
They installed my ProCharger and did a good job. Plus they are pretty nice guys and hopefully they can help you out.
Ask for Larry.
Good Luck!
