Default lowering question

Just lowerd my C5 today, using tips I got from this site

https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...D=27&TopicID=1

question is, how long does it take to get down to it's lowest? Car is inching down slowly...

Also, what have members been getting by doing this? 1" to 1.5" drop?

takes a 100 miles or so, but for me it took about 1 month and for a few months after that I think it still was getting lower.

I would say 1 to 1.5 would be good. Each car is different some don't move at ll...

Go run around the block with it. Drive it some. Mine looked like a 4x4 when it came off the jacks.

It took mine about 300 miles to settle down. The most on stock bolts (no cutting rubber bushings) is 1.0 to 1.5.

Your car must scrape on gum wrappers. Mine is lowered a shade under 2" and must be very careful on speedbumps and potholes.

I did mine the other day and it is slowly going down. i was really disappointed when i did it because it didnt seem low enough. I got it back from the car audio place yesterday and it looked like it had dropped at least a half inch. so just be patient and it should happen for ya!!

I'm about to lower mine next weekend......

So am I understanding right, that once you lower it on the stock bolts, it continues to slowly get lower and lower over time??
