Default ceramic pads

I don't want to hate my Z but the brake dust is more than problematic. Does anyone have something to say about ceramic pads that resolve the chrome degredation on my wheels etc. I need a coefficient of friction that will autocross well on occasion.
Thanks

My contact at VBP told me that there are differing compounds that his customers have used and some autocross very well but he does not carry a line of ceramics. Any help finding manufacturers would be most appreciated as are all of your kind responses.
Thanks

Ceramic pads will take care of the dusting problem, but do not autocross or do track days well. I use ceramics for the street and put on stock Z06 pads on when I do my track days.

I do the same, except I use Hawk HP+ pads for track events.

I use ceramic on my wife's towncar, no pad squeel.
Not much brakes either.

I love my ceramic, they keep the chrome looking

<--- (check SIG)

I did some auto-x after i put them on last year and they worked just fine, I will just have to replace pads more often

I changed mine out to GM ceramics. Hard core racers will tell you that the OEM pads are designed for max stopping performance and you give up a little with the ceramics. If there is I can't tell the difference. And they don't make any noise either.

I have gone several weeks this winter w/o washing my 03 Z and even as a daily driver the wheels looked nice and clean.
