Security Ignition Lock Out
This morning when I went to start up (daily driver) all lights came on (normally no issues there) but the engine wouldn't crank (absolutely nothing). I am sure it wasn't the battery. I am sure I just put the key in poorly and the resistor in the key wasn't read properly. This was an issue with my C4 and finally I just measured the resistance of the key and bypassed the ignition resistor reader with an external resistor. It was real easy. It sure appears GM hasn't fixed this with the C5s.
Has anyone on the forum done this bypass and if so information regarding where the connector is and how easy it is to get to would be most appreciated.

Remove the console, remove the radio bezel, remove the lower knee dash pad and on the bottom right side of the ing switch is a white connector with 2 small wires going to this is where it hooks to the BCM wiring.
