charge battery help please
have to pull the car out of storage. its a 2000 a4. i have used ls1 edit on it. so the computer is not stock. is there anything special i need to do to charge the battery. it has been disconected for 7 months. this is stock battery from gm. any help would be apreciated. thanks in advance.

Nothing special. Just make sure your charger does it SLOWLY. Like 2volts, slow charge. The newer chargers available now are controlled by computers. They can detect battery faults and charge your battery evenly.
If your battery is still original, you might think about replacing it.
You are on borrowed time. 4 years is generally the time limit for most batteries. Who knows, your battery may be so dead, it won't take a charge.
