Default Z51 lowering

Is there any concerns when lowering a coupe if it came with Z51 rpo. Is the procedure the same? Any comments on wether I should and how to do this is appreciated. Also how far off is the alignment when done, I don't want to max out of factory adjusters.
Thanks Steve

Steve,
No problem lowering a Z51 car.
You have to answer the question whether you should lower the car.
The obvious con is scraping the front spoiler.
No way to tell how far the car wil be out of alignment after lowering. It depends where the alignment was before the car was lowered.
Always have the alignment checked after lowering. It will change.
Try it. You can always raise it back up easily.
Someone will chime in with the link on how to lower the car done by Patches.

I lowered mine as far as it will go on stock bolts. It is still settling - make sure you allow for some driving time before you make any adjustments (a few hundred miles). My car does not pull left to right - and my measure of the alignment shows it is not too far oof - especially for running just to let the suspension settle - I am going to take it somewhere and get an alignment though - These tires are FAR too expensive to take the chance on the alignment being out enough to wear the inner part of the tires.

Mine is a lowered Z51 and without any problems. I'd suggest that you let it settle for a week or so then get a 4-wheel alignment.
