I am getting P0463 Fuel Level Sensor Circuit High Input, and the accompanying crazy fuel gauge. Also getting P0171 and P0174 for left and right banks being lean. I have troubleshot EVERYTHING for P0171 and P0174. My question... Can the P0463 lead to the other two... or conversely, will fixing the Fuel Level Sensor take care of P0171 and P0174? Thanks.

for the lean codes, look for a vacuum leak right behind the passenger side of the TB. there's a rubber line that's for the PCV system that likes to rot. had to fix it on both of my formulas. the fuel level won't have anything to do with the lean codes.
Took me a while to hunt this one down. I cleaned MAF, checked o2 sensors, looked for vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks etc. Finally bought an Autotap, everything looks great. Hmm.... My intake was loose! I could turn the bolts by hand (checked intake as a last resort). I don't think the dealer ever torqued my intake down. Bought an inch pounds torque wrench and all is good. But still have codes. Hmmm... Replaced fuel sending unit and now trouble free. Turns out the faulty sending unit was causing the lean codes. With the autotap I could actually watch the direct correlation between the bad signal and the reaction of the o2 sensors after the cats. When the fuel gauge was at full, no problems, no codes. As soon as the fuel gauge went to empty, BLAM, running lean and codes tripping. Kinda long story but this is another thing to add to the list to check when you are getting P0171/P0174.
