i am currently running 18 inch bfg drag radials with no luck.i would like to run 16 inch et street but refuse to buy ccws.how well do the 17 et st. work as compared to the 16s.(414 ls1 500rwhp a4 trans 3800 stall 3.42 gears)setup for nos
The 17" ET Street's work well with moderate HP. If I had 500 rwhp and was going to spray on top of that, I would spend the money for the 16's as your going to get some spin.
I only got to use my ET streets in really limited action but I could tell they were getting good. Got down to a 1.70 just getting a feel for them in 3 passes.
Once they were getting all the crap off em, they started to feel pretty good. I think 1.6s and 1.5s should be the norm once I'm comfortable with em. If you're running a ton of power though, I'd still say 16's would be best. They were still spinning off the line and my car only makes a bit under ~500rwhp.
