Dropping my M6 tranny...
I think my throw-out bearing is shot on my tranny and I need to drop it and change it. Is this a pretty straight forward task w/o a lift or a pain in my azz. shop said its gonna be about 800-900 to change it...and part is only 80...i would rather do it myself. I am going to buy the shop manual here in the next couple days and I am hoping that will spell it all out to me, but i wanted to see how many of you guys have done it and hear your experiences. If anyone have links to sites that have good instructions please post em. thanks in advance!!!

You really should take advantage of it being apart, and replace some other parts while you're in there.

8 hours out 8 hours in, on jack stands, without reading instructions, taking your time, with no help at all...a few friends good instructions, and lots of jacks it shouldn't take tooo long.
