I was taking the 02 sensors off the exhaust. the whole housing turns, and the wires get twisted. Not terribly bad, but enough to make me worry! Does anyone know why, the nut won't turn alone? Was I doing something wrong? If I needed new sensors, how long would it take to get them? I don't really think they're damaged, but you never know!
Can anyone tell me?

What you describe is normal. It is not a nut, rather the
whole sensor is one piece.

Both of the above make sense, "I can dig it". But, I didn't remove the harness from where it was pinned on the front sensors. I twisted the wires quite a bit. They look OK, but, now I'm worried about the sensors when I install the headers, Hope they work alright!
