Default What clutch to get????

The car is my sunny day driver. And it does see moderate track time. Any suggestions for a clutch. I plan on having around 400-450 hp by the end of summer.

Hands down the Ram PP and dual compound disc with a fidanza flywheel. Absolutely the best clutch per $$$ on the market.

for 400-450 HP I would definitely stick with the Z06 clutch! Anything else would be too much clutch and you will be unhappy with chatter/engagement/vibration/etc issues that are typically found with after market clutches. The Z06 clutch is rated @ 520 foot pounds of torque.

Hey Killaz,
We would highly recommend the LUK Pro Gold Stage 2 package for your application. Feel free to call us for more information.
Thanks,
Mark and Terry

The Cartek clutch is reasonably priced and quite durable. And there are quite a few guys that pound on them and they hold up.

Aftermarket clutches can be a nightmare. Some have great luck with them, others don't. I am having a hell of a time with the LUK clutch/flywheel combo. It was installed, then I found out it was off balance by over 16 grams. Now that it is back in, I am having engagement issues, noise issues, etc. I am about to have it torn down again.

My advice is to use the stock Z06 clutch unless your power levels demand more clutch.
