Back in the late 70's, I was running 10.70's in my 428SCJ Mach I with NOS, so I know what it takes to run tens. You know as well as I the transition from tens to nines is monumental. The bottom end of the LS1 is strong, but I don't think it could take that much spray! I, for one, wouldn't chance it. JMHO.

I think there are more than a few people looking for 9's this year. Last year my car went as fast as 10.31 with a 75 shot. For some reason we can't get the car to pickup over a 100 shot. What plugs and gap are you running?

I'm there with you. Just waiting for the weather to clear up. My 408=495 rwhp plus 100-200 shot should get me in the 9's. I would post in the FI/N20 section. Some serious diehard N20 users over there. What mph are getting with 10.50's?

I think you need to worry more about the launching and gears and stuff.

You are making enough power to run 9s especially with an auto.

im running ngks w/39 gap, mph 129, im spinng drag/radials off line, so im going/slicks, 4200 ss yank, and dte brace, i think that will do it over my 3000/ss. :

You can take a ride to the Vette Doctors. Not too far from where you live. They can definetely offer some good advice.

You're running way too much gear for an A4 with a 250 shot , try 3.42's and ET streets , I'd leave the converter alone for now . What track have you run these times at ? You need to find a track that hooks , like Atco in southern NJ .

Atco has always had better hook the E-town , although they just re-finished the surface last week , so being a virgin track it may take some time for it to hook well again .

Your running the same mph as I was, only I had weak stg 2 ls1 heads, 224/569 cam, 3.42, ss3800 and 100 shot and your short time is better by a 10th than I ever got. With your mods, you should be running at the 9's as is with more tire. I think your mph should be deep in the 130's
