This is the best I can get right now, it is snowing like mad so i can't get a wide shot outside. The smears marks on the paint is a coat of Zaino drying in case anyone is curious.

I have my front bolts removed and it sits no where close to how low yours is I have about a two finger gap in the front... How did u do that? What shocks are you using? do u still get that metal on metal sound in the front since your bolts are removed?

there is not a squeek or rubing noise anywhere. i used a thick piece of rubber i cut into a 3x4 rectangle and it is gorilla glue to the a arm, the monospring sits on the rubber, it is sandwiched between the spring and the a arm. i have zo6 shocks

Dude!!! How come no one else has ever sugjested this seemingly good solution!!!!!! How long have you had them glued in???? Have you check to see if they have worn/cracked. Have you seen more settling since you first put them in???

Yes I have checked, no wear at all, the gorilla glue is unstopable, it is waterproof and PERMANENT. remember the old bs crazy glue comercial? well i weight 275 and I guarantee that the gorilla glue could glue my head to the ceiling yes It did settle more. not as much in the front but the rear settled an inch in about 45 minutes.

In fact what i first planned on doing was use a piece of the rear bushing that i cut and glue that in but i found a 12x12 1/4" rubber mat (no idea where it came from) and used that instead. In fact i bet you could use a piece of radiator hose cut down the middle and flattened out.

I just paid installer labor for my Z06 springs and Bilseins and cutting the front bushings.
I'm mechanically challenged..
Tell me......can the bolts be removed and rubber pads glued without taking everything apart??

you need to jack the car, remove the wheel, back the adjustment bolt all the way out while holding back the bushing. then you can remove them both. in my case my passenger side was totaly frozen and the bushing broke loose from the spring so i had no choice but to cut the bolt. i have no plans on switching back to the bolts so i cut them both to make the job easier. you can buy bolts and bushings from hardbar if you need them.
after the old bushing are removed (you have to have the monospring jacked up enough to make room for it to be removed) you can glue the pad in. i would suggest glueing it to the a arm. glue it so when the monospring is lowered the hole on the spring is centered on the rubber pad, that will be your biggest contact point. you can put some grease on the rubber spring facing side before you lower it if you are concerned about noise, i did not do it and i have not had a single squeek at all.
good luck, you will be slammed when you do it, i know i sure am.
