rear defroster
My rear defroster on my vert is not working, can someone tell me if this is a common problem? If it is, does anyone know where to start the trouble shooting process? I'm assuming back where the wires attach to the glass?

Are you trying to use it with the car on? It only will come on when there is engine RPM. Does the light turn on on the dash? Also, can you hear the slight "click" of the relay a few seconds after you turn the button on?

Yes of course with the car on. I haven't really heard any relay, but then the car is always running and I was never listening for it. The light does light up on the control panel but no defrosting action happens.

I listened for the relay this morning, can hear it slightly when I turn it on, and real well when I turn it off. No tinted window, I'm assuming its probably something in the window area itself.
