Roll Bar protection

Can anyone tell me how safe is a C5 convt in a roll over.Also why do they not install the mini roll bars on them like the Cadilac XLR and Porsch Boxter? Also how much protection does the windshield post provide if any? Thanks for you're time...

it's suposed to be pretty strong, but the coupe's halo bar does me me feel a lot better.

those mini roll bars are just for looks.

In a gentle roll over the windshield frame work might.... Might... save you... I wouldnt plan on it though.

Not safe at all just like all the other convertibles on the street. Mini bars are not going to help. In case of a roll over, tuck into a ball and stay close to the floor.
