Battery cable lenght
Does anyone know the length of the positive battery cable on a '97 vette?. The dealer gave me a price of 350.00 to change it out. I think he had a screw loose. Is this a job that I can do myself? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know the length, but the factory cable is expensive too. Why don't you make your own cable? Surely it'll cost less, and it'll be the right length. You can get all the parts you need from Waytek...and yes, I spelled Waytek correctly.

Make it yourself and save $300. Some of these parts, let's say almost all have rediculous prices. The spelling lesson was funny, although I don't think it was appreciated.Bob
