I have a question on how and where to measure the ride height on a C5. The reason I ask is last year I got off on a rough back road and the car bottomed out enough to put a 1/2 dent in the floor pan on the steel part just ahead of the drivers feet. I'm wondering if my car was lowered or this road was just really bad or my **** is too fat. I'm shopping tires and I'm thinking about taller tires to lift the car a half inch or so. After bottoming out I wonder how you guys get away with lowering the car at all. Thanx in advance. Jeff
Jeff,
The trim heights are measured on the frame but to simplify just measure from the ground to the top of each wheel well (fender). Post it here and we can tell you if the car has been lowered.

I have an '04 w/ stock rims, tires. Just lowered mine, forgot to measure it at stock. I would be intrested in "stock" heights. Now it's: LF 26 5/8"; RF 26 7/8". LR 28", RR 27 7/8" . Should these be the same??
Anyone know the turns per inch for adjusting, I've heard 1 turn is a little less than 1/4 "

This stikes me a weird, wouldn't we want the driver's side higher than the passenger to offset the weight of the driver? Let me know what you guys think. Jeff
