I dont have this cam but I didi research it extensively. If your looking at this for a daily driver you wont be disappointed. PM me if you want additonal advice on cams and other bolt ons
I am running this cam only in my car. I am planning on doing a SC very soon and this is a good cam for this. Just for laughs I had the car dynoed, un-tuned, right after the cam only install and the car made 380 rwhp on an LS1 with stock heads, cats, longtubes and I am sure the 4.10's I have it would have made more. It has a nice idle, not too rough, but you can tell that it's not stock..... e-mail me if you want to hear a sound clip.
Yes, it's very streetable. From a 20 mph roll it just breaks the tires loose, but I am sure that's from a mixture of cold NJ temps and the 4.10's. The cam is gonna be great for what I need it for, a SC application. If you are gonna do only a cam/head setup, I would ask for some advise for something a little more aggressive. Just my 2 cents.

Hey Cliff,
Are the times in your sig up to date? The reason I ask is that I thought I saw you run in the 11's at ATCO last year. Maybe I have you confused with someone else?
I considered the 228. But for a DD it wasn't what I wanted.
This is the cam I have in my car LPE GT-10 220/226/114
Very good for street and she sounds great.
My LS1 heads have never been off the car.
